Bill had a great day today, which means that we had a great day today! He spent the majority of the day in the recliner chair. Whenever he is sitting up, his alertness level gets bumped up a few notches, so he was able to discern a little more of what he was seeing and experiencing today. Hooray! He tolerated sitting in the chair, but his head still can't take the thinner atmosphere at eye level (!) so he's got a date with the tilt table tomorrow with PT. I hope to get things going as far as discussions regarding rehab , hopefully tomorrow.
A great day to thank God for.... Nancy

ReplyDeleteWe're thanking God, too, for the good reports you've been able to give us these past few days! It's so wonderful to read about the progress that Bill is making each day. Thanks again for keeping us informed!

Dear Gezon Family - What an answer to prayer! Now Bill's work will begin. The rehab will work him hard and wear him out, but that's a good thing. We will pray for strength in the coming days.(Dad and Mom came for dinner today, Dad's pants are about falling off, he's lost so much weight!! His appetite is starting to get better though and he gains alittle more strength each day.) Best Wishes and God Bless, Kandy Suwyn and the Russ Warner Family
ReplyDeleteHang in there buddy!! Monday nigts haven't been the same without you. I miss our cribbage four-some games at your Mom's apartment.

Nancy, (and family),
ReplyDeleteMy mom has been keeping me posted on Bill's progress. We are praying everyday for your family. As I read your blog, I feel those familar feelings of the ups and downs throughout a long hospital stay. I praise God for His healing power in Bill's life! I love reading about his humor- so funny! Keeping a sense of humor is so imporant!
Lots of love and prayers,
-Amy Kuncaitis (Groothuis)
P.S. Kenna had many "trips" on the tilt table :)
